I've been using shellinabox on Debian x64 for a few months, but I cannot get it
working on Ubuntu 10.04 i686.

When I install I get this error:
------------------------------------
>sudo dpkg -i shellinabox_2.9-1_i386.deb
Selecting previously deselected package shellinabox.
(Reading database ... 34334 files and directories currently installed.)

                                                                                                             [ OK ]

All I get is a blank white screen instead of shellinabox. When I compared the
installation with the one on Debian x64, I noticed that /etc/shellinabox
directory containing the css files and symlinks did not exist, so I copied them
over from the other server.

It still does not wotk. I get this error on the apache error log file:

[Tue Jan 24 11:19:39 2012] [error] [client 86.x.x.x] File does not exist:
/var/www/server.domain.com/ShellInABox.js, referer:
https://server.domain.com/shell

Is shellinabox not compatible with Ubuntu 11.04 i686, or have I done something
wrong?

Okay, I built it from source, and after dpkg downloaded an updated config file,
everything now works fine.
