I just wanted to thank you for this project, I just tried it and it worked out of the box. Also the tip with enabling the experimental flag added the battery info to my bluetooth KDE widget which is nice!

Perhaps you might want to talk to the GadgetBridge people (https://codeberg.org/Freeyourgadget/Gadgetbridge/) they already have implemented some other buds and the Pixel Buds Pro would be a nice addition.

That sounds like a good idea. I have close to zero Android app development experience but I'd be happy to try and answer questions regarding the protocol.

I've contacted them via their Matrix chat. I think at the moment no one is interested in implementing it there, but as I've said I'm happy to answer questions regarding the protocol once someone wants to try this.

Hi, thanks for your efforts! I think it always needs a developer with the buds, perhaps there will be one in the future.
