Develop data visualizations to address these key questions:

Out of Compliance Systems - Which Community Water Systems in California have unsafe drinking water?
1. - Population Affected - Which unsafe water systems affect the most people?
2. - Chronic Issues - Which water systems are chronically out of compliance (e.g., have been out of compliance for 80% of the past 5 years)?
3. - Exceedance Levels - By how much are the water systems in exceedance of state and federal standards?
4. - Underlying Contamination - Are there water systems close to each other which have violations of the same analyte (contaminant)? (maybe makes sense to investigate potential source water contamination in the region)

These are great questions to answer, Rucker. I have been doing a lot of reading on watersheds and definitely want to work on a map visualization which involves them!

More specifically, I wanted to combine the water quality data provided in this repository with the National Hydrography Dataset (http://www.horizon-systems.com/nhdplus/NHDPlusV2_18.php) which provides drainage areas of California. This would help with identifying potentially mutual contaminant sources from question 5.

Eventually, I'd love to add interactivity, color, and indicators to the map which could help illustrate answers for the other questions too.

@damoonvisuals - I overlooked your response-- but your proposal sounds AMAZING! There is so much need to experiment with addressing these questions. Please let me know if you need guidance.

@ruckeralex Can you give more context on who is going to use these visualizations and what are they going to be used for? Are there any specs to keep in mind in thinking about how these visualizations should be designed, drawn, and shared?
