Based on feedback we should:

Explicitly state that repository needs to be cloned using git clone rather than downloading the .zip file.
Fix the path to the data directory in the examples which currently are pointing in the wrong location.

Multiple people have raised issues relating to pybind11 not being installed so we should add this as a common issue. Additionally, supplying the hint that using 'sudo' can overcome permissions related issues.
