Why is this feature needed?
It is essential for utilising the WHM module and any future modules with 
natural language lemma instead of numbers. 

What problem will it solve?
It will allow support of lemma other than Strong's numbers, especially for the 
forthcoming WHM module. 

Describe a typical usage of the feature:
Lookup definitions of Hebrew words in a lexicon.

Are you aware of any programs that have this feature or a similar feature?
BibleTime, Xiphos, SWORDWeb/BibleTool, etc.

I'd have to look at why this isn't working. I'm guessing it was another of the 
"we don't support it at all until we have test data" decisions.
