The soon-to-be-release R 4.4.0 has a new function pkg2HTML() in package
tools to create single-page HTML reference manuals for R packages, and
CRAN is planning to start using these HTML refmans on the package web
pages instead of the PDF refmans currently used.
This needs being able to build the HTML refmans without having the
package installed, which currently does not work for your package.
This can easily be changed: can you please submit a new version of your
package with a new version built with R >= 4.3.0?
(This will provide Rd expansions for the Rd install/render stage \Sexprs
which may not work when the package is not installed.)
Can you please do so as quickly as possible, and ideally before
