CI failures appear unrelated?

`D15$coerce_authors_at_r()` produced warnings.

I took a look; the failure appears to be a change in [.person in utils. Likely related to https://github.com/wch/r-source/commit/0986e80068addc5c884d06580412ff2331436814 or a similar commit in that range?
