plot.gtable is meant for debugging only, and isn't equivalent to grid.draw

I only remember Hadley stating this years ago (and I seem to have shared this info as well since: https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/gridExtra/vignettes/gtable.html)

According to present day Hadley this is no longer the view🙂
