FYI, the Version field in DESCRIPTION has not been updated after this change, which creates some confusion: v1.1.0 on CRAN uses getPass, while v1.1.0 on GitHub uses askpass. It would be great if you could increment the version number and post the new version to CRAN. Currently, I have to specify Remotes: sections in some private packages to force use of GitHub version, which can cause installation problems when users already have the "other" 1.1.0 or if they lack GitHub authenticaton token and hit GitHub's download limits. Thanks, for the very useful package.
