macOS nightly builds failing #603

Because R-devel switched to R 4.5.0, so R 4.4.x is not available to install on macOS now. We could temporarily skip 4.4 on macOS, but then we need a reminder to add it back later. Or we could just use all installed R versions?

They do not fail any more, but I'll keep this open until I can revert the build skip.

Or implement native builds instead of the cross-compiling.
