Sure go ahead. It's much more logical as well - less confusing.
Actually you can think on it for a while longer if you want.
If you look at the public view - just 2 repos are pinned - 'r-releases' and 'help', so it's not really confusing.
Contribution is the only reason we might ask someone to visit Github specifically, unless it is for help (bugs, suggestions, question).
Yeah, to your point, I guess it's not the most pressing problem at the moment. But it's still early enough that renaming things is easy, and I think contributions
makes it clearer that a contributor is in the right place. Plus, it protects the namespace from getting crowded later on if we want to create a bunch of other repos with the word "releases" in the name.
Ok, I can make the changes to the website, it's probably easier if I do it.

I agree, thanks for your help propagating all the changes to the various repos.
We are accumulating repos in our org. @shikokuchuo, would it be okay if I rename https://github.com/r-releases/r-releases to https://github.com/r-releases/contributions and change all the references to the URL?
