As we discussed, it would be ideal to officially sanction R-multiverse as a joint rOpenSci / R Consortium project. This would add legitimacy to the effort and hopefully increase funding for rOpenSci and its staff.
Joe Rickert mentioned an R Consortium working group would be a good concrete path for this.
