Structure Modeling Capability Not Present #55

The standalone gstat version has the ability to handle shape files containing polygons and lines to define point inclusion for variogram and kriging estimation. Is there any plan to port this functionality from the standalone version into the R version?

That functionality has moved in the past to package sp, and now to sf.
