I would like to be able to set Dark Mode to activate and deactivate separately from Night Shift. Previously I accomplished this with Night Owl, which has been degraded with spyware by its new owner.

Exactly in the same boat here. Would love if it also included a slider in the menubar.

i just want to chime in to say i specifically don't want this, and would prefer this application maintain the unix philosophy: being an app that does a simple single task well, rather than adding more features. alternatives for setting dark mode at times, like using schedules in Automator, already exist.
