Fixed in https://github.com/r-universe-org/sync/commit/249526266c055f3dc5c980de8edbf9f336df1ea3, I believe
My package {pegboard} is set to deploy to the r-universe on release as is specified in the packages.json file.
The last build for this package was 28 days ago (even though the release was back in May). Since then, two releases have occurred and the package has not been built.
This was in a repository where a lack of activity had caused the github actions to stop running, and I attempted to delete and re-release the latest release version.
