To add a bit more context, I feel like even though this isn't AI code per se, the same ethical standards as commonplace in AI fairness would be beneficial to follow. You can find tons of resources on the topic at https://ai.google/responsibilities/responsible-ai-practices/?category=fairness :)

Sorry, just noticed this comment. Yeah, that's old code that I threw into the library while running an experiment to look for specific bots that followed those patterns. There are a lot of regexps associated with that too, by the looks of it. As far as I know, this code isn't used anywhere in the main tools, so I will remove it at some point.
