Does not correctly recognize system version #96

Which program triggers the problem? Specify the filename if possible.

1.Run the gdi installer for either 32bit or 64bit
2.Voila. The minimum system requirement is XP/Vista. Nothing recognizes that I
am running Vista.

I installed gdipp a while ago. Then I just uninstalled it so that I could
install the new beta. Now neither the beta or the stable version will install.

What version of gdipp (including renderer)? On which operating system?
Latest Beta and Stable, 64 bit and 32 bit, on Vista SP2

Do you mean you cannot install gdipp in Windows Vista? 0.7.6 requires Windows
XP or above. 0.8.2 or above versions need Windows Vista.

I can't install it because the dialog box comes up that tells me I need at
least Vista.

Which I'm running.

I reboot and went to the real administrator account and installed it with no
hitches there. So I dunno what happened.

What is your Windows bitness? Is it a 32-bit Windows or 64-bit Windows? You
cannot install 32-bit gdipp on a 64-bit Windows, and vice versa. The 0.8.2
installer may have uncovered bug, but the 0.7.6 installer should be OK even for
Windows XP.

Well, when 0.9.0 is released, you can first try to install with the installer.
If that fail again, please extract all the files from it and install manually
with the provided script. I will upload the extract script along with 0.9.0.

It's 64bit. I was installing the 64 bit versions and that didn't work until I
rebooted and went to the real admin account.

It works now? Should I close the issue?

Yeah I guess. Hopefully nobody else gets the same issue as me.
