What steps will reproduce the problem?
--- --- ---
1. just install this *§$%! thing in Wordpress at shared hosting
2. see when this crap bloats up your logfile:
--- --- ---
Usage: file [-bcikLhnNsvz] [-f namefile] [-F separator] [-m magicfiles] file...
       file -C -m magicfiles
Try `file --help' for more information.
--- --- ---
You better should learn code before you do such crappy things like that.
(means, check file permissions, etc...)

Sorry you're annoyed but I am afraid I have no idea what your bug report means.
If
you can give a more detailed report I'd be happy to sort it out.

Before complaining again I would recommend grabbing the latest version of the
code as
there have been a variety of changes and fixes in the last few months.

this is error output of UNIX command "file".

http://unixhelp.ed.ac.uk/CGI/man-cgi?file

Check your access.log against entries that ocurred at the sime time as this
errors
from your error.log and see if it is all about timthumb, or another script you
may
also installed / set up on your wordpress installation (template perhaps).

Basically - it looks like some magic_quotes misconfiguration (check your
php.ini). To
check this out please send your phpinfo output.

And belive me, timthumb is working like a charm at many hostings - in fact I am
using
it almost everywhere (thanks for good work, BinaryMoon).
