JPG images turn to PNG after resizing #80

Hello,

I recently found this timthumb script but when I add a JPG image it resizes
it and convert it to .PNG which is much larger and heavier, could somebody
please make it keep the images as they are? jpg to jpg, png to png...etc?

Thank you so much
Regards

Same thing there. Pls share how you got it fixed. Thx so much. (TT is used as a
resizer in the ProductFolio WP Theme from Templatic.com, so I can pass it on
to the
developer once provided. :) )

Hi - the latest version of the script should have this fix applied already. You
shouldn't need to change anything yourself.

Hi BinaryMoon,

The code i am using is r80 and the script is still caching png files for me, I
have
tried locally and remotely and they are both producing png.

Thanks

Just to clarify the script produces a jpg when requested but the cache is
continually
creating png files, even though the source file is a jpg.
