not sure if it was a bng update, but some vehicles are preventing me from changing a few parts, even if i restart the game or the computer #66

i was lookin thru the console and there seems to be a problem about the following archives

ui/modules/apps/beamlrtimer/app.js line 115

ui/ui-vue/dist/index.js line 64

ui/modules/apps/beamlrui/app.js ->lines 647 and 656

ui/lib/ext/angular/angular.js ->lines: 14817 15949 17515 17790 18005

the thing is, i got "grandmas car" and was upgrading it, when out of a sudden i couldn't change my rear suspension from miramar_suspension_R to miramar_suspension_R_wide anymore, so i put power in the car and the driveshaft just broke the time i got some gas, so i tried changing it in the save file of the car in the beamng user folder but even then it wouldn't work, and then i remembered that a youtuber i watch, "Getaway Driver" had the same problem, so i tough about reporting it to you devs

there seems to be a error related to an unassigned variable that got a constant of 1, or a child property that isnt assigned, something like that lol

trying to understand more of beamng modding, so i was looking into what was causing problems at my beamlr carrer to try understand it more

Is it possible you changed tuning values on that car before it bugged? This is something I've fixed for next version, in specific conditions when changing tuning values it can bug the part inventory. Other than that I can't really tell what caused the files to bug from the log itself, if you know a specific sequence of actions to do that recreates the bug starting from a fresh save let me know because unless I can recreate the bug myself I can't do anything.

Hi, I’m having the same issues.

Really enjoy the mod but leaving it unplayable.

Every time I fit a new engine, wheels, anything really when I install one part I then can’t add anything else involving the part.

started with changing engine I can’t add things like superchargers (intakes) or even internals.

then on the d series I changed wheels to new ones, (came with tires not sure if it’s meant to) then went to change the tires to ones I wanted bugged out and wouldn’t let me install the tires

Sorry forgot to add this also involved with engine swaps (same fuel type) would spawn with full tank then glitch into saying wrong fuel engine disabled but then tow to garage drain and fill again and be fine, but still parts won't install to the car. Have to buy a new car to do modifications. Using the original engine solves this though but yeah was happening on suspension when changing parts. Anything connected to the part I've replaced then wouldn't install on the car

The wheels aren't supposed to spawn with tires attached. The engines probably also spawn with parts attached which is what bugs the inventory. Not sure what can cause this because it works fine for me. Go through the troubleshooting guide, play without mods if you have any installed, reinstall in a clean userfolder, etc. Make sure you don't pause the game while making part edits.

I've made sure I didn't use mods before using this, all deactivated and a cleared cache before doing it, no idea, maybe try deleting mod and reinstalling?
