bad pdf report #94

@mtingley mentioned he had trouble getting the .pdf to download properly from this page: https://github.com/rBatt/trawl/tree/master/Reports/assess.sim.basic

@mpinsky @bselden @JWMorley if any of you have the same problem, let me know

one possibility might be related to whether or not knitr/ pandoc embed fonts when creating the pdf. There is a function in R embedFonts that I've used on .pdf figures before (but it often screws up other aspects of the figure), so that might help, but unsure.

If it's strictly a font issue, I can use another one (I don't even know what's being used in there; it might be Deja Vu, I'm unsure)

Please, if anyone else has this problem, report that here
