Can this work with Session Buddy? #295

Hey,

When I restore a window from Session Buddy all the tabs load and depending on how many and the hardware used it can be really painful, it'd be nice if this could work like on browser restart. Not sure if this is the right place for asking so sorry in advance.

Thanks!

Bump. I have the same issue and it's why I currently use other suspender extensions on main browser.

Which? I'll update my notes at https://gist.github.com/CTimmerman/58cc6b3ce21c38c6345b

Which?

I use the The Marvellous Suspender. When page is suspended it replaces it with a custom extension page that can be restored from Session Buddy as suspended.

With auto-tab-discard tabs can be discarded, but once they are saved in Session Buddy, they are just plain URLs, which once restored are opening as live tabs and not in discarded/suspended state. image

I could recommend adding something in the auto discard extension that adds some symbol (#...) at the end of URL, then it would immediately discard that tab once restored/opened from TSB.
