Can these be merged / moved to related packages or removed ?

Ok, statfi functions moved to statfi pkg; MML functions in the pkg for now - consider moving them to gisfin

Let us not move the MML functions to gisfin. The reason: gisfin focuses on visualization, and this adds complexity and stability issues. Making simple ID conversions available in a separate package (sorvi) is therefore justified for now.
