Modulation (v. not) for Volumetric Graynet? #31

Dear Pradeep and crew,

Apologies for the multiple notes in a day, but I wondered if you/we know how modulation might impact network construction/measures with volumetric graynet?

I know there was some work previously (citation, which I think PR sent me?) suggesting optimal settings for VBM (and it suggested to skip modulation). I wasn't sure what was known (about these effects) in regards to networks?

Any thoughts are deeply appreciated!

Great question, Jamie. I don't know the impact of modulation, but studying it will be well worth it.

Really small amounts of modulation, may be absorbed into the histogram cleaning and outlier trimming, prior to the network extraction process, and might not impact them as much, but it is unlikely that they are tiny. Esp. in developmental datasets that you work with.
