Dialog and Bottomsheet Scrims Missing in 1.9.51 #511

I just updated to 1.9.51 and all the scrims are missing on Android 34. I'm using the ModalBottomSheetLayout and setting the scrim there, but nothing shows up.

If anyone else runs into this, it's a known issue it seems with the emulator: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/289117017?pli=1
