basic ajax call example doesn't work #18

What steps will reproduce the problem?
  follow the steps of first ajax example in wiki document

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
  get the google search JSON result 
  actually it returns null always

Try to hit the url in a browser and see if it returns anything.
