Dashboard updates interfere with user input #11

If the monkey "high-water mark" dashboard updates after a user has typed characters into the command prompt, the cursor will be reset to the beginning of the prompt and any further typing will overwrite what's already there. The old characters will be preserved in memory but won't show up on the screen, which is annoying and confusing.

This will be fixed once it's converted to a web app.
