I have a feature request: Why not add the ability to use the current time and date in the template? For example %D could be the day of the month and %DD the day of the month with a leading zero etc. That way you wouldn't need to mess with locales and everyone could build their own date format:
%MM/%DD/%YY, %h:%mm %a%\n
%YYYY-%MM-%DD, %hh:%mm
Would result in:
06/27/24, 9:03 am
2024-06-27, 09:03
