Binder sessions only stay open for 10 minutes. Also, sometimes Binder gets overloaded and link doesn't work.

So add installations instructions good enough for the most clueless of users.

[ ] write install_check.py (see jupyter-widgets/tutorial for example how to do this - note they assume JupyterLab is launched if going the anaconda route)
