Bio: Charles Neill is a Security Engineer at Rackspace, who tests Rackspace products as well as OpenStack projects like Barbican. He is also a developer on DefectDojo, an open source defect tracking system using the Django framework.

On a side note, I'm not a big fan of round up posts like these but I'm a bigger fan of trying things out and seeing how they perform.

@rgbkrk: I'm completely open to suggestions for the name and format of the series. Heck, it might not even make sense to do it as a series. Maybe it would be better if I just picked a handful of links and really did a deep dive on them. This is a test for us as well, and our internal audience may be very different from the one on the developer blog. I'm not very fond of the name "Weekly Security Link Dump," it just kind of started as an informal thing I did for our team, but it's still cursed with the name for lack of a better one.

I think you're right though that we should try it out at least once or twice, and see what the results are. Thanks for your feedback!
