I just tried Spot servers in London (UK), it's great!
My issue that I think the Kubernetes control plane is hosted in the US so all the management feels a bit slow, executing some kubectl commands feels slow and doing some kubectl cp too.
It would be great to have Kubernetes control plane near the same region or at least in the same continent (Europe) so the connectivity to the node is good.
Also about #3, people that have EU data residency requirements would want to have the Kubernetes control plane in Europe too.
I think, this should be configurable as there maybe instances where the current state you describe is desired, where a user can select where the control planes are hosted.
