Feature request: GPU rendering #526

I'm just starting 3d programming, please bear with me. Would there be a way to render the contents of the editor frame into an opengl buffer, and display it as an inlay to DrRacket? Similar to Sublime Text's. I'll gladly help in any way if somebody has any information on this.

Maybe take a look at this third-party package: https://docs.racket-lang.org/opengl/index.html

Apparently it can open an OpenGL context inside a canvas%, so possibly that does what you want.
