create typescript definitions #98

related to #52

Adds basic type definitions, I could use some help from maintainers here. I don't know all the return types, mostly i just read the docs.

This is a work in progress.

I recommend also adding useful comments to each method.

Anyone can feel free to edit and or continue this pr.

Thanks, @pedroraft! We're about to release 3.0.0 which adds a bunch of new functionality. This may need to be updated significantly. We're planning to get to this at some point this year.
