07:20] how can I tell qtmoko to store sms messages in sqlite db instead of sim card? [08:05] --> ThibG has joined this channel (~ThibG@spike.sitedethib.com). [08:22] --> aloniv has joined this channel (~alonivtsa@85.64.31.33.dynamic.barak-online.net). [08:24] --> drlizau has joined this channel (~liz@billiau.net). [08:32] <-- aloniv has left this server (Quit: aloniv). [08:37] <-- drlizau has left this server (Remote host closed the connection). [09:33] akamit: hi, IIRC all sms are stored somewhere in /home/root/ in standard mail mbox [09:33] format [09:35] hi [09:37] I used some old version, v46 or so... and frequently gta02 stops receiving sms telling me that sms full. But there was no option to delete the messages from the sim, so I booted shr from SD card and delete messages manually with mbus2 [09:38] now installed v48, lets see how it will behave [09:52] akamit: hmm it probably keeps the SMS on sim too - because when i reboot to another qtmoko partition the SMS appear there as new [09:53] yeah [09:54] when I remove them frequently it ok, but if I forgot to remove these messages sim gets overflowed with messages and stuck with no chance to delete them [09:54] akamit: but deleting SMS deletes them also from SIM - at least on GTA04 it works, you can check in "System info" that after moving SMS to trash and emptying trash the number of used SMS will decrease [09:55] akamit: ahh oki, this sounds like a bug then, if this is reproducible then i can try take a look at it... [09:56] yes, on gta02 too, but the problem is that I'm receiving too many sms messages every day and need to manually delete them every time... it's not handy [09:56] akamit: sure, oki [09:57] akamit: IIRC for receiving SMS you need free slots on SIM - maybe it would make sence if QtMoko would delete the messages from SIM automatically when free slots go low
