58: second boot hangs at PIN entry #157

the first boot goes more or less normal, the second boot hangs at the PIN entry screen and the message 'please wait...' written above.. If you configure your favorites during the first session you can still work around it, but it's a PITA.

Seems to me the SIM card is not recognised.

Hi, have you tried the workaround with logging enabled? Maybe it the modem AT log would be interesting too.

I turned on the logging (checked every box to be on the safe side), and the next reboot came up normal, all the way to the desktop. It stays normal even after turning logging off again. I'm guessing the boot sequence reinitialization for the logging fixed something. I'm attaching the logs in any case (I had to fake the file extension) ![Uploading var.log.tgz.png . . .]() , maybe you can figure out what happened and fix the image.
