No - the end result is a widget that would be part of the vtk viewer, so it would just show up when jupyter_rs_vtk got updated. The plan was to apply it to the xt04_heat_3D_cyl.ipynb example (with the viewer, not plotly). If it's still of interest I estimate maybe 20 hours to finish up.
