I will take it up me to document the resource configuration.

Can you let me know what you want to achieve, because part of the documentation fix will be removing these links altogether.

I updated docs/source/machconf.rst -- Mark, please have a look.

Looks ok according to Mark. His comment is to include an explicit list/table of supported resource keys (as users have no simple way to find those otherwise).
