as written in the README, the example how to get a PV to show up in ds9 isn't working for me, and the error message from ds9 isn't helping either. The error was that the script was not executable, but even then, it has to be in the $PATH, and "pip install" didn't install it either. Thus the ans file would need to contain the path as well? Anyways, I got it working, but some warning might be in place, I'm not sure what the workflow intent was.
I'm also partial to always open a new frame for a PV slice. But any user can fix that by using another button.
