When the window is minimised while creating a new character (or, as in my case you switch to a different virtual desktop), the scene is blank when the window is pulled up again. Selecting a new gender or race will return the scene, as a completely new one is created when a new actor type is selected, but trying to change the looks of the existing character (head, hair, etc.) will result in a segfault. I presume this is because all actors are deleted when minimising, but I may be wrong.
