DarkIce is a live audio streamer. It records audio from an audio interface (e.g. sound card), encodes it and sends it to a streaming server. This is the official development repository of Darkice.

Windows Support #65

jackd works on windows now (and can also act as an ASIO bridge), and a
streaming solution for windows would be nice that allows ASIO apps to stream.

Is there any interest in this?

And can I get some idea of the ability to compile this on Windows?

I might attempt to setup a gcc build system on windows (or perhaps on my Linux
server) and see if this can work if it's not using too many Unix specific
features, but I'm no c programmer so I'll need a little help.

Considering darkice seems to be the only still maintained audio streamer, I
would love to see a Windows client as well. So, any news on compiling for
windows?

I don't see any problem porting darkice to Windows.
