Followed Page shows nothing/Followed tag not showing up on giveaways #1761

Description For weeks I'm having the issue that the Followed page shows no giveaways even if there are some (or even many at times). Also, the tags don't show up on any of the giveaways.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to "..."
  2. See error

Expected Behavior See giveaways for followed games on Followed page.

Console Errors None. I'm getting a few warnings though:

System (please complete the following information):

Additional Context Synching SG and ESGST at the beginning sometimes fixed it but lately nothing I do works.

EDIT For example, I'm following this game (screenshot taken on All page): image though as you can see there's no followed tag and the giveaway doesn't get listed on the Followed page.

Update: The issue still persists. On the Network tap it appears to be working with all the pages being fetched but nothing gets displayed. image

What typically works for me as a fix all of this:

  1. deleting all steamgifts cookies then
  2. signing back in then
  3. opening a giveaway's steam page and from there my steam inventory (so steampowered and steamcommunity urls) and finally
  4. syncing ESGST again manually: image

I'm pretty sure that the error always occurs when steamgifts is auto-syncing indicated by the little symbol on the top right of the page that shows up left of the "gift" symbol: image Important to note: 10.12 "Automatically sync games/groups when synching through SteamGifts." is turned off.

This automatic sync as described apparently cannot be turned off and happenes... maybe once every 4-7 days? I don't know the exact time period. Just now, before writing this update it happend. So maybe if I remember I can update again next time it happens. Anyways, there should be no syncs unless automated by user choise settings or when triggered manually, so I really don't know what auto-sync this is, not to mention why this messes up the Followed page.

Edit: Exchanged the last screenshot with one actually showing the circling arrows besides the gift symbol.
