You gonna need to clean your project to ensure to use the most updated version. This is happening yet because your core libraries at iOS native still the same, but the rest was updated.}

Also, you can use flutter pub upgrade to ensure that all your packages are up to date.

@rafaelsetragni I got the same issue, after making sure pods and packages were updated and the project build was clean.

to be precise DartBackgroundExecutor all the loggers in that class are complaining

I update to:

awesome_notifications: ^0.7.4+1 awesome_notifications_core: ^0.7.4+1

and this problem still shows:

I solved it with deleting podfile.lock and pubspec.lock. After that using old awesome notification version and doing flutter pub get and pod install

Same here. Tried everything from cleaning project to running pub get time and again. Nothing is working. Anyone have any idea last working version ? Or any temp work around?

Didnt work for me. I am stuck in awesome_notifications 0.7.7 awesome_notifications_core 0.7.6 awesome_notifications_fcm 0.7.6

I think the Logger library is not includes in your release.

Guys, once again, you need to update your libraries with flutter pub upgrade. This error is because your libraries are outdated. This logger class was changed to use interfaces and singletons on the last version, and the old version uses static methods.

Yes, it is. I need to use this approach to integrate with Firebase Crashlytics in the next versions.

Even with the suggestions posted in the discord I have the exact same problem.

pub get:

  awesome_notifications 0.7.7
  awesome_notifications_core 0.7.6
  awesome_notifications_fcm 0.7.6

pod install/ pod update:

Installing IosAwnFcmDist (0.7.6)
...

I am on Xcode 15.0

Same problems here. Right now I can't even go back to 0.7.4+1 because the same error persists, it seems like it keeps using 0.7.7 even though I cleaned pub cache, not sure what to do?

Same Issue using Xcode 15 and awesome_notifications 0.7.7. I can't go back to 0.7.5 either , even after cleanning cache deleting Pod folder and podfile.lock

(I hope this is not relevant for long!)

Needing a fix for this now, I forked and commented out references to the Logger. So, if you need a "works now," you can use my fork by updating your pubspec.yaml's awesome_notifications to:

    awesome_notifications:
        git:
            url: https://github.com/charlesRmajor/awesome_notifications

No promises on what will be working or not with this workaround, but it is building & working for me. I forked from the latest 0.8.0 version.

Same issue for me, was running ok on 0.7.4+1 but upgrading to 0.8.0 the Logger issue appeared and not able to go back to 0.7.4+1. Removing Pod, podfile.lock, pubspec.lock, etc ... nothing works. Running Flutter 3.13.6, Xcode 15, IOS Simulator 15. I just upgraded Flutter from version 3.7.12 and awesome_notifications: ^0.8.0 ( no core no fcm).

I uploaded all libraries with major version 0.8.0. Update it and try again:

dependencies:
  awesome_notifications_core: ^0.8.1
  awesome_notifications: any
  awesome_notifications_fcm: any # <- The other plugins are optional

Maybe you gonna need to execute flutter clean, and flutter pub get and flutter pub upgrade once again to ensure that all versions will be updated.

The result that you need to see after these commands in pub get are this:

> awesome_notifications 0.8.2 (was 0.7.7)
  awesome_notifications_core 0.8.1
> awesome_notifications_fcm 0.8.0 (was 0.7.6)

Hope this helps, unfortunately since I had limited time, I was only able to get this to run by. Running this via deployment 13 from my original 12. (17 also worked, but ran into issues with connectivity_plus plugin). I backed up my iOS directory and then deleted it. I ran:flutter create .

flutter pub cache clean flutter clean flutter pub get Added back my plist, entitlement etc. to iOS and added platform: 13.0 to my Podfile then set the deployment version to 13(17 for plus)

Not sure if it is relevant, but I'll add it just in case anyone else needs things to try. I also updated my XCode Project Format to Xcode 15.0. I had it on 14 before.

I'm in shock how .lock files are so insistent to keeping old versions, even updating the major version to 8.

To ensure that everything is updated, use the yaml below:

Later I'll figure out a better way to make sure all the libraries are up to date and match each other.

disabled ENABLE_USER_SCRIPT_SANDBOXING is working for me.

1.  Open the Xcode project.
2.  Click on the project name in the left sidebar to open the project settings.
3.  Select the target you want to check in the "Targets" section.
4.  Click on the "Build Settings" tab.
5.  In the search bar, type "ENABLE_USER_SCRIPT_SANDBOXING".
6.  If the value of ENABLE_USER_SCRIPT_SANDBOXING is set to "No", then it is disabled. If it is set to "Yes", then it is enabled.

Now getting a different error

disabled ENABLE_USER_SCRIPT_SANDBOXING is working for me.

1.    Open the Xcode project.
2.    Click on the project name in the left sidebar to open the project settings.
3.    Select the target you want to check in the "Targets" section.
4.    Click on the "Build Settings" tab.
5.    In the search bar, type "ENABLE_USER_SCRIPT_SANDBOXING".
6.    If the value of ENABLE_USER_SCRIPT_SANDBOXING is set to "No", then it is disabled. If it is set to "Yes", then it is enabled.
