The incorrect automake command is a result of my uncautious migration to git, which included removing all files that are automatically generated. For now automake --add-missing
should work just fine, but I am considering a migration to a modern build system (like cmake) at some point in the future. This would make long-term maintenance far easier.
I have almost no experience with the autotools, but running
automake --add-missing
is what autoreconf suggested when I ran it.I also fixed some minor things in the README, take a look whether it's what you want.
