Will Fabrication Stay Alive(Flex 4)? #13

Darshan,

I used this utility for a very big project(Based on Flex 3/AS3), and it
worked great. Our team really wanted to use it for some new upcoming
projects which will be based on Flex 4 utilizing latest PureMVC
Multicore/Pipes utility. But I just found out from the comment that you
are no loner working on it.

Questions:

1.) What is the plan for this project going forward?
2.) Is this project currently maintained?
3.) Is the existing version compatible with Flex 4(Pipes 1.1, latest Pure
MVC framework). I saw people complaining about respondTo/reactTo methods
failaing in Flex 4.
4.) Biggest question of all, Can we/people use this utility for the newer
projects, assuming that this project would still stay alive, and we would
get updated versions for upcoming versions of flex 4/Pure MVC/Action
scripts.
5.) It would be really sad, if this project dies, because this is a very
kool utility and is a boon to really complex applications. Ours is a great
example.

Thanks
Vikas

@rafalszemraj

Do you have any plan to merge the codebase for Tequila and Fabrication?
What all the new updates we can expect?

Meanwhile, I experimented with Tequila and liked it. Particularly, the console
utility that you provided to debug any issues.

Yes, the next step planned is to merge tequila into fabrication and run it as
one project. I will change Tequila console into fabrication one, with some
improvements, at later stage.

Thanks Svend! I have been lucky to find some time to do some stuff, after
couple of examples of new features I will prepare a similar console Tequila has
:). Svend, if you have some ideas, want to join a project - just let me know. I
still owe you for you idea and contact with Darshan :)
