I updated today and since then the message number has stopped showing completely. I have restarted my PC, the app itself, tried checking for any other updates.
The notifications appear with the text (also profile pictures dont appear in notifications either) just as before. Just that the message number never shows up. Even in the app, for example on their is no message number icon on the user icons on the sidebar. There used to be message numbers on those icons before.
