Hi,
we are excepting Moodle 2.0 RC1 next week, did you have time to have a look
into it ?
Thanks for that great module.

Not yet. I'm waiting for a full public production server release.
Thank you for your patience.

Have you had a chance to look into Moodle 2.0 support yet. I know it just came
out a week ago, but I was just wondering if you had a timeline?

Hi to everyone,
I'm currently looking into a Moodle 2.0 version of the Media Player module. The
Moodle 2.0 file API has changed significantly and even with the latest version,
the core code is still returning a lot of errors. I think it may be some time
before they've "ironed out" those.
There's also another issue that could affect new Modules in general. There a
hundreds of instances of soon to be deprecated PHP 4 functions (e.g.
preg_replace()and pregi_replace()) in Moodle 1.9 and 2.0. If your server gets
upgraded to PHP 5.3+, it'll throw a lot of errors.
I'm currently finding workarounds for this for the Moodle 1.9 versions of the
Media Player and SWF Activity Modules.

From what I've seen so far, I think Moodle 2.0's public release is premature.
There's still a lot of issues with the file management system that directly
affect the Media Player module. Please be patient!

@matbury; did you mean ereg_replace/eregi_replace? From what I can tell,
preg_replace/pregi_replace are the replacement functions for the deprecated
ereg_replace/eregi_replace functions, and therefore can be expected to be in
wide use in Moodle 2.0.
Media Player is a great plugin, keep up the good work!

First off, this is a great module you have built and I use it quite a lot. Just
wanted to say thanks first. I am going to be pushed into using moodle v2 this
summer so if an update to mplayer happens that will allow me to use it in v2.0
it would really help me out. Keep up the great work and thanks.

Any estimate or guess on when mplayer for v2.0 might be available? Any info on
the file management issues that are blockers would be appreciated as well.
Thank you for your great work.

Hi,
so, Moodle 2.1 is out. I have to switch to this version the next two month and
I heavily used your plugin in Moodle 1.9.x.
Great for us is the 2.1 ability to restore directly 1.9.x backuped courses.
Is it possible for you to say right know, if and when is yout plugion available
für Moodle 2.1?
Thanks for your good work
