keyboard layout specific enable / disable autokey monitoring #68

1. I use Devanagari (Hindi) and English (US) keyboard layout,

2. Hindi keys require few special combination forms, like ्र र्
ज्ञ त्र क्ष श्र which are assigned to # $ % ^ & *

3. I have assigned the keys to the characters reuquired, but unfortunately
#$%^&* are required in english keyboard layout.

I know that we can disable autokey, when not required, which is a solution
indeed. or use backspace to 'undo' the character change.

But, I request to have this "automatic" feature for keyboard layout specific
enable/disable for autokey monitoring.

Just a wish, not a big issude, but a bit of slowdown for enabling/disabling
monitoring.

thanks.

1. keyboard-layout.jpg -> Hindi keyboard layout in windows, which autokey
allows me to have the ्र र् ज्ञ त्र क्ष श्र
keys assigned to # $ % ^ & * respectively.
2.Hindi-keyboard-layout.aky -> the missing keys hindi keys in linux which
improves typing a lot, which is now available in Linux thanks to autokey!

I'm not sure what you're actually asking for here...

never mind, I guess autokey can't know what keyboard layout a user is using;
only if autokey could know the *change in keyboard layout*, this "disable
autokey" for XX keyboard layout option might be implemented.

anyways, you may make this a wontfix. thanks.

There are too many problems with acting on keyboard layout changes so this
couldn't be implemented anyway.
