Cantarell is out of date.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use the Cantarell font included in the Google Font Directory.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see the latest version of the font from this repository: 
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/cantarell-fonts/0.0/

I saw an outdated version.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Cantarell Version 1.001.

Arch Linux.

Please provide any additional information below.
The FONTLOG.txt says that the Font Directory has Cantarell Version 1.001, but 
the latest version is 0.0.15.

To quote the README file in the git repository:

"The fonts were initially published on the 6th of July 2009 on
Dave Crossland's foundry website [6] under the terms of the GNU
General Public License version 3. [7] In May 2010 the fonts were 
republished through Google Web Fonts [8] under the terms of the
SIL Open Font License version 1.1. [9] In November 2010 the
project became part of the GNOME project and is now under active
development by the GNOME design community. [10]"

The proper location to retrieve the font is: 
https://download.gnome.org/sources/cantarell-fonts/0.0/
