Recourse into subdirectories to display something is changed inside deep.
Steps:
1, the background job (or separate job with even lower (cpu+io) priority?) 
should check the recoursive status, so entering a directory never should be 
delayed just to check the inner subdirectories' status.
2, if a check is ran, then the nautilus display should be refreshed instantly. 
with the current nautilus-python binding it is not possible :( It would be the 
best to develop a java-nautilis binding...
