Bug in the "Find text" function #774

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open a book (PDF or epub)
2.Search for a word (menu/Find text)
3.

What is the expected output?
A list of all occurences in a reasonable time.

What do you see instead?
These occurences are found at a very, very slow pace (the counter which is 
displayed shows a speed of about 1 page per second, very irregular) : thus, 
several minutes are often needed before finding a single word. If the book is 
thick (e.g. 500, 700 pages), the search may sometimes never finish! Moreover, 
the virtual keyboard which has been used for typing the word remains always 
visible, hiding half of the screen. It is necessary to hide it by hand (other 
unnecessary taps).

What version of the product are you using?
2.1.8

On what operating system?
Android 2.3

What device are you using?
Several, same effect (Asus ME173MX, Galaxy Note 10.1, phone Huawei)

Please provide any additional information below.
When this bug is solved, I suggest another interface for the function "Find 
text". In my opinion, the best interface would be a clickable list of all 
occurences, populated as the items are found. This list could be superposed to 
a portion of the screen (e.g. right side), and, why not, easily hideable.

Ooops! Mistake : my Android systems are NOT 2.3 , but 4.3 and 4.2.2.

No reaction nor comment? Either nobody but me uses the search function, or my 
system is incompatible (software version, hardware, global environment, type of 
books ???).

I have updated to version 2.1.9, and the problem is the same: it works, but so 
slowly that it almost does not work! I measured the time needed to find a given 
single word in a 294 page PDF book : 3 minutes and 30 seconds, one occurence 
found. Same search with other readers, same book, same device: Mantano needs 8 
seconds, ezPDFReader 2 seconds (sic!). What is wrong? I think I am missing 
something.
If not, if such search delays are normal in this software, I think you should 
try to reduce them, and this should be a high priority job...
